Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes is running a program to rebuild 30 fields this year. The 30 winners get $15,000 and the aid of a turf specialist to get their fields in top shape.
Anyone who was at Douglass Park last year knows we could use this program.
Douglass Park has been nominated, but we need your help to get selected. Please visit www.frostedflakes.com and search for Douglass Park. Click the support our field link and help us get our numbers up.
In April, Kellogg’s will select 100 finalists, then the field will be narrowed down to 30 fields to get the makeover. Help us be one of those 30 lucky programs.
2nd Grade football Coach Gene Underhill is again running his winter baseball camp at the Middletown Tennis Club. The camp will be every Thursday in February from 6:30 to 7:30pm. The cost is only $3.00 per night.
The camp is open to all T-ball and Coach Pitch players, as well as first year Kid Pitch players.
For more information, contact Gene Underhill at 513-236-5789 or gene@middies.org.
While this camp is not affiliated with Middletown Youth Football, we encourage all kids to participate in more than one sport. Both Middletown Little League and Middletown Youth Softball are quality programs available to the area children. Signup for both programs are starting soon.
